Lena Fragi is an experienced legal counsel with a distinguished working history in the practice of law, legal writing and dispute resolution. Armed with expert proficiency in Commercial Law, mainly in Corporate (Company) Law and Maritime Law, and European Union Law, Lena skilfully handles a broad range of domestic and international corporate transactions, as well as commercial agreements, including contracts in the maritime and aviation sectors.
Lena holds a Degree in Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in European Union Law from the University of Essex (U.K.) focusing on European Company Law, European Banking Law and International Trade and Finance Law. She practices before the Supreme Court of Greece and is a Member of the Athens Bar Association since 1999. Lena also serves as a Special Scientific Associate of the Scientific Service to the Hellenic Parliament Scientific Council, whereas the Scientific Service is entrusted, among others, with the overview of the scientific elaboration of Bills and Law Proposals for the Plenum, the standing committees and the Recess Sections of the Parliament, as well as the parliamentary and scientific research and expert studies, focusing on the scope of Constitutional Law and the Hellenic Parliament’s institutional role, organisation, proceedings and business. She speaks English, German and Spanish.
